Florian Schuhbauer is founding partner of AOC and has more than 20 years of relevant experience. He serves as Board Member of PNE AG since May 2017, as Board Member of NFON AG since December 2019 and as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Vita 34 AG since July 2020. He started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson with positions in risk management and equity research. Afterwards he built up Newtron AG, a software company that developed software to optimize strategic sourcing processes, which subsequently has been sold successfully. He then became CFO and Executive Vice President of DHL Global Mail in the US, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG. As Partner and Portfolio Manager at General Capital Group / Active Value Investors, Mr. Schuhbauer was responsible for investments with a combined value in excess of €1.5 billion. Prior to establishing AOC, Mr. Schuhbauer was Partner at Triton Partners where he built up the Public Equity practice.

Florian Schuhbauer holds a Master in Finance and Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.

Klaus Röhrig is founding partner of AOC and has more than 20 years of relevant investing experience. He serves as Member of the Board of Directors of Agfa-Gevaert NV (Chairman until August 2020), Member of the Supervisory Board of Formycon AG and as Member of the Supervisory Board of listed Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG (Chairman until November 2020).

Before founding AOC, he was at Elliott Associates, responsible for the funds’ investments in the German speaking countries. Klaus Röhrig started his career at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, focusing on corporate finance and M&A for technology companies. Throughout his career he focused on identifying investment opportunities, structuring of investments and process-driven value creation.

Klaus Röhrig holds a Master of Economics and Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

Jan Klopp joined AOC in November 2017 and is responsible for the management and oversight of finance, operations and corporate governance in Luxembourg. Jan has more than 17 years experience in the Luxembourg Asset Management and Private Equity market. He serves as Board Member and Member of the Audit Committee of listed exceet Group SCA (formerly exceet Group S.A.) since 2017. As an audit Partner with KPMG Luxembourg he was responsible for a portfolio of German and international clients including management companies, investment funds and AIFMs. In the legal department of a Swiss bank he was the contact for all legal questions regarding Luxembourg fund products. Jan has worked across various industries in the financial sector and his wide ranging experience includes risk management, compliance and corporate governance. Jan Klopp is a qualified Réviseur d´Entreprises in Luxemburg. Jan Klopp holds a degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the University of Trier with Major in Audit and Controlling and speaks German, English and French.

Tommy Jansson joined AOC in January 2020 and is responsible for Investor Relations and Business Development at AOC. He has more than 15 years of relevant experience in hedge fund analysis, investment strategy and investor relations for different types of funds.

He started his career in the Audit practice at Deloitte in London with a focus on investment funds. Following that he worked in Private Equity before joining Fauchier Partners, a Fund of Hedge Funds, where he spent eight years analyzing hedge funds in London and New York. He later joined IPM, a systematic macro hedge fund based in Stockholm, where he worked as an Investment Strategist. He then joined Triton where he was responsible for investor relations for Triton Value Fund, a public fund pursuing an active value strategy, before joining AOC.

Tommy Jansson holds an MSc in Finance from Queen Mary, University of London and is a CAIA charter holder.
