Florian Schuhbauer is founding partner of AOC and has more than 20 years of relevant experience. He serves as Board Member of PNE AG and
exceet Group SE since 2017. He started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson with positions in risk management and equity research. Afterwards he built up Newtron AG, a software company that developed software to optimize strategic sourcing processes, which subsequently has been sold successfully. He then became CFO and Executive Vice President of DHL Global Mail in the US, a subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG. As Partner and Portfolio Manager at General Capital Group / Active Value Investors, Mr. Schuhbauer was responsible for investments with a combined value in excess of €1.5 billion. Prior to establishing AOC, Mr. Schuhbauer was Partner at Triton Partners where he built up the Public Equity practice.
Florian Schuhbauer holds a Master in Finance and Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
Klaus Röhrig is founding partner of AOC and has more than 15 years of relevant investing experience. He serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of listed Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG since 2013, Non-Executive Chairman of listed exceet Group SE since 2017, and Chairman of Agfa-Gevaert NV since May 2019.
Before founding AOC, he was at Elliott Associates, responsible for the funds’ investments in the German speaking countries. Klaus Röhrig started his career at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, focusing on corporate finance and M&A for technology companies. Throughout his career he focused on identifying investment opportunities, structuring of investments and process-driven value creation.
Klaus Röhrig holds a Master of Economics and Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
Jan Klopp joined AOC in November 2017 and is responsible for the management and oversight of finance, operations and corporate governance in Luxembourg.Jan has more than 17 years experience in the Luxembourg Asset Management and Private Equity market. He serves as Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee of listed exceet Group SE since 2017. As an audit Partner with KPMG Luxembourg he was responsible for a portfolio of German and international clients including management companies, investment funds and AIFMs. In the legal department of a Swiss bank he was the contact for all legal questions regarding Luxembourg fund products. Jan has worked across various industries in the financial sector and his wide ranging experience includes risk management, compliance and corporate governance. Jan Klopp is a qualified Réviseur d´Entreprises in Luxemburg. Jan Klopp holds a degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the University of Trier with Major in Audit and Controlling and speaks German, English and French.
